A live salary chart you can put on your own page
The widget shows current salary ranges for Australian data roles — low, midpoint and high — drawn from the same advertised listings behind the rest of this site. It is a single iframe with no script tag, no tracker and no account, and the figures refresh themselves as new listings are ingested, so a page that embeds it once does not go stale.
It exists for the pages where a salary figure is useful but gathering one is not the point: a bootcamp syllabus, a course outline, a team blog post about hiring, a university careers page. Rather than quoting a number that ages badly, the chart stays current on its own.
Using it
Copy the snippet below and paste it into any HTML page. There are variants for each role family if the whole market is broader than you need — a Data Analyst course page can embed the Data Analyst figures alone.
The snippet includes a plain-text credit line under the chart, linking to the page the figures come from. Please keep it: the widget is free precisely because that link is what the site gets in return, and it is the only part of an iframe a search engine can see.
What the numbers mean
Every figure is the advertised salary on Australian job listings, not a survey response or a self-reported number. Only listings that state a salary are included, which is a minority of postings, so the sample is smaller than total listing volume and skews toward employers willing to publish pay. The midpoint is the average of the advertised range mid-points, not a median of individual salaries.
That makes it a good measure of what employers are currently advertising and a poor measure of what people are actually paid, particularly at senior levels where fewer roles publish a range at all. Anyone citing it is welcome to quote that caveat alongside the figure.
